Accounts Receivable Collector
Wilson Elser, a leading defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 U.S. offices, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collector for its White Plains, NY office. The Accounts Receivable Collector will be responsible for producing clear written communications regarding outstanding balances, reviewing and reconciling payment applications, and making telephone calls to clients to discuss account resolutions. Additional duties include tracking invoice statuses, confirming receipt of payments, recording collection activities, and analyzing partial payments. The role requires professional interaction with various stakeholders, including regional offices, associates, partners, senior management, and client contacts.
Ideal candidates should possess an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or a High School Diploma with four years of office experience, including at least two years in collections or accounts receivable. Experience in law firms or professional services is advantageous, particularly with an understanding of the law firm revenue cycle. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential, with knowledge of Aderant, AS400, and Minisoft ARCS being beneficial. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are also required.
The position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $75,000 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
