Account Executive, Marketplace Sales
Xometry is seeking an Account Executive to join its Marketplace Sales team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this role, you will manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers, as well as oversee an existing book of business. As the primary point of contact, you will guide customers through the sales process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to deal closure. Key responsibilities include building relationships that reflect company values of trust, service, and honesty, identifying strategic long-term clients, and securing substantial and repeatable orders. You will develop business with both existing and new inbound customers, create and actively manage plans to achieve specific sales objectives, and assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects. Additionally, you will serve as the contact person for all new projects related to prototyping and low-volume production, provide guidance to the sales engineering team to develop quotes based on specific customer needs, and deliver technical presentations at customer seminars and industry events.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and possesses an advanced level of English proficiency. You should have at least 2 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role, preferably in a high-volume inbound sales environment. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, or GoToMeeting is required. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is also necessary. Strong negotiation skills, a results-driven approach, high energy, and a positive attitude are essential. The ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and to work on-site once a week is also required.
