Xometry is seeking an Account Executive III to join its Marketplace Sales team in North Bethesda, MD. This role focuses on managing and converting inbound customer inquiries, understanding their needs from prototype development to production, and demonstrating the superior value of Xometry's offerings to expand business share. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients by embodying company values of trust, service, and honesty. The Account Executive will identify strategic long-term clients, secure substantial and repeatable orders, and develop business with both existing and new inbound customers on a strategic level. Additional duties involve creating and managing plans to achieve specific sales objectives, assisting customers in selecting appropriate rapid manufacturing technologies, and serving as the primary contact for new projects related to prototyping and low-volume production. The role also entails providing guidance to the sales engineering team for developing customer-specific quotes and delivering technical presentations at seminars and industry events.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and have at least five years of experience in a quota-carrying closing sales role, with a preference for those who have spent at least two years selling to manufacturing customers and Fortune 500 companies. A demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is preferred. The role requires high proficiency in virtual meetings and presentations, familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting, as well as experience with CRM systems like Salesforce. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
