Xometry is seeking an Account Executive III to join our Aerospace and Defense team. In this role, you will manage inbound inquiries and expand existing business within the Aerospace and Defense sector. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs from prototype development to full-scale production, demonstrating the superior value of our offerings, and increasing our market share.

Key responsibilities include selling Xometry solutions to Aerospace and Defense companies, aligning our services with customers' strategic objectives, and building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management. You will also be responsible for strategic planning and roadmapping for customer accounts, setting up sales calls and presentations, qualifying and converting potential leads, and collaborating with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Maintaining accurate data within the company's CRM system and representing the company in the best light are also essential duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role, with at least 2 years of experience selling into Aerospace and Defense companies. A demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is preferred. Proficiency in virtual meetings and presentations, experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, strategic sales planning skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment are essential. The role requires the ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time.

We offer a competitive base salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
