Account Executive III, Aerospace and Defense
Xometry is seeking an Account Executive III to join our Aerospace and Defense team. In this role, you will manage inbound inquiries and expand existing business within the Aerospace and Defense sector. Your focus will be on understanding client needs from prototype development to full-scale production, demonstrating the superior value of our offerings, and increasing our market share.
Key responsibilities include selling Xometry solutions to Aerospace and Defense companies, aligning our services with customers' strategic objectives, and building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management. You will also engage in strategic planning for customer accounts, set up sales calls and presentations, qualify and convert leads, collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs, and ensure accurate data management within our CRM system.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role, with a minimum of 2 years selling to Aerospace and Defense companies. A demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is preferred. Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems like Salesforce is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, are crucial.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
