Account Executive II, Inbound
Xometry is seeking an Account Executive II to manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers, as well as oversee an existing book of business. This role serves as a key point of contact, guiding customers through the sales process to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact to deal closure. Xometry's digital marketplace connects innovators with manufacturers, providing critical resources to grow their businesses.
Key responsibilities include building relationships that reflect company values of trust and service, identifying strategic long-term clients, and securing substantial repeat orders. The role involves developing business with both existing and new inbound customers, creating and managing plans to achieve specific sales objectives, and assisting customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their projects. Additionally, the Account Executive II will be the primary contact for new projects related to prototyping and low-volume production, provide guidance to the sales engineering team for developing quotes, deliver technical presentations at seminars and industry events, and collect and report industry trends and competitor information.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying full-cycle sales role, with experience in high-volume inbound sales. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom, WebEx, or GoToMeeting is required. CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems is essential, along with strong negotiation skills and a results-driven approach. A high energy level and positive attitude are important for engaging with and selling to customers. The ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is crucial. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
The estimated base salary range for new hires in this role is $54,000 to $70,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
