Account Executive II, Inbound
As an Account Executive II at Xometry, you will play a pivotal role in managing and converting inbound leads into loyal customers, while also overseeing an existing portfolio of clients. This position is integral to our sales team, ensuring a seamless experience for customers from initial contact through to deal closure. Xometry is a leading digital marketplace that connects innovators with manufacturers, providing critical resources to facilitate the production of parts essential to various industries.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include building and nurturing relationships with clients, projecting company values of trust and service, and identifying strategic long-term partners to secure substantial and repeatable orders. You will develop business with both existing and new inbound customers, create and manage plans to achieve specific sales objectives, and assist clients in selecting the most suitable rapid manufacturing technologies for their development projects. Additionally, you will serve as the main point of contact for new projects related to prototyping and low-volume production, provide guidance to the sales engineering team in developing quotes, and deliver technical presentations at customer seminars and industry events.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role, with a background in high-volume inbound sales. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, or GoToMeeting is required. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is essential, along with strong negotiation skills and a results-driven approach. A high energy level and positive attitude are crucial for engaging with and selling to customers effectively. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is also important. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $54,000 to $70,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
