Account Development Representative
As an Account Development Representative (ADR) at PitchBook Data, you will be an integral part of the Account Management & Customer Success team, focusing on generating qualified opportunities and driving early-stage pipeline within Core accounts. This role involves outbound prospecting and some inbound lead follow-up, emphasizing discovery and qualification to deliver high-quality opportunities that support revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and Business Development Representatives to uncover growth within existing clients and identify new opportunities across target territories.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting outbound prospecting and managing inbound account leads to create qualified opportunities for Account Managers and Business Development Representatives. You will conduct discovery calls, thoroughly qualify prospects, and ensure a steady flow of high-quality pipeline that supports sales goals. Additionally, you will work with Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, and Customer Success Managers on a fixed book of accounts to build pipeline and drive growth through coordinated strategies. Supporting stalled opportunities by expanding account engagement and nurturing momentum through the funnel will also be a key aspect of your role.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of outbound prospecting experience. A client-first attitude and a passion for engaging prospective new users for account growth are essential. Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, are crucial. An interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital, will be beneficial. The ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results, along with excellent prioritization skills to manage your sales pipeline, is also important.
