Smartsheet is seeking an experienced enterprise SaaS sales leader to develop and scale the SMB Commercial Sales team. This role involves refining sales strategies to accelerate growth across high-growth accounts, focusing on creating account strategies, expanding executive relationships, and selling high-value solutions. The position reports to the SVP of North America and is based in the United States.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing enterprise SaaS sales team, comprising Directors, Managers, Client Development Managers, and New Business Representatives. The VP will drive strategy to consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives, develop plans to increase senior executive relationships with C-level executives, and build trust-based relationships across various business units. Additionally, the role involves executing sales management disciplines such as account planning, sales methodology execution, forecasting, and professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales objectives by leading enterprise SaaS sales teams and driving substantial growth in accounts up to 1,000 employees. They should possess the ability to execute land and expand sales strategies, effectively engage with C-level executives, and have a minimum of 7 years of experience, including second-line management, leading strategic software teams. A bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred.
