UX Designer, Monetization
As a UX Designer on the Monetization team at Twitch, you will play a pivotal role in crafting experiences that drive sustainable growth for creators, viewers, and the platform itself. This position involves designing systems that enable creators to earn revenue in ways that feel natural, rewarding, and aligned with the spirit of live communities. You will report directly to a Director of Design and collaborate closely with senior cross-functional stakeholders, guiding and mentoring junior designers along the way.
In this role, you will work across the full product lifecycle—from early concept and opportunity exploration through launch and ongoing iteration. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers, engineers, and data partners to design thoughtful monetization experiences that balance business goals with creator and viewer trust. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, an experimentation mindset, and a deep care for the people who power Twitch’s communities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of practical experience in UX design, with an emphasis on content discovery and engagement experiences. Proficiency in interaction design and visual craft skills, including experience with prototyping mobile experiences, is essential. Demonstrated collaboration skills with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers are required, along with expertise in Figma and experience in e-commerce or monetization. An aesthetic sense, the ability to make confident decisions, and empathy for the end-users are also crucial.
Twitch offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, maternity and parental leave, flexible PTO, and an Amazon employee discount. The base salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Additional compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
