UX Designer, Community
The UX Designer, Community role at Twitch focuses on enhancing user engagement and experience for a leading live streaming service renowned for its passionate gaming and creative communities. The position is embedded within the Community team, whose mission is to empower streamers and viewers to connect, share, and participate meaningfully across the platform. Key responsibilities include leading the design process for user-facing features, conducting user research, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers. The UX Designer will translate complex problems into intuitive design solutions, create wireframes and prototypes, and iterate on designs based on direct user feedback and analytical insights. Day-to-day work also involves aligning design choices with business goals and ensuring accessibility and usability across web and mobile applications.
Candidates should have significant experience in UX design, ideally with a focus on social or community-driven products. Proficiency in UX research methods, interaction design tools, and prototyping is essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes, high-quality visual output, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience in live streaming, online communities, or related fields is a plus.
