UX Designer, Community
Twitch is seeking a UX Designer to join its Community team, focusing on enhancing streamer creation and viewer engagement experiences across the platform. This role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of a cross-platform live streaming service that supports the growth and development of streamer-based communities. The UX Designer will report directly to a Director of Design and collaborate closely with senior cross-functional partners.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to develop user-centric solutions, conducting research to understand streamer and viewer needs, and creatively solving problems to sustain and grow streamer communities. The designer will also contribute to the Twitch design community by utilizing and improving existing patterns and approaches, and present work through design reviews and feedback sessions.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of practical experience in UX design, particularly in content discovery and engagement experiences. Proficiency in interaction design and visual craft, including experience with prototyping mobile experiences, is essential. Strong collaboration skills with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers are required, along with a keen aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident design decisions. Empathy for users and expertise with Figma are also important qualifications.

The base salary for this position ranges from $106,000 to $184,000 USD annually, depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location.
