UK Masterclass - Expression of Interest

IMC is offering a UK Masterclass in London, designed for university students interested in high-frequency trading and the role of advanced technology within the trading sector. The program is scheduled for September 27 for Trading and September 28 for Technology, providing participants with an immersive experience into the dynamic world of technology-driven trading.

Participants will engage in lectures that delve into the fundamentals of high-frequency trading and its technological aspects. The program includes two custom-built coding challenges, allowing attendees to develop strategies capable of handling market data and calculating profitability. Additionally, there will be Q&A sessions with IMC's software engineers to gain insights into working at the firm.

Eligible candidates must be enrolled at a university in the UK or Ireland, pursuing a relevant degree such as Computer Science or Software Engineering, and expected to graduate in 2027 or 2028. While flight reimbursement is available for participants traveling from within Europe, IMC cannot assist with visa applications for entry into the UK.

The event will be held in London from 10:00 to 18:00, with travel costs reimbursed. Participants will also enjoy complimentary lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. This Masterclass offers a unique opportunity to experience the intersection of trading and software engineering firsthand.
