Treasury Operations Specialist

As a Treasury Operations Specialist at Stripe, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company's treasury functions. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting cash management processes such as funding, cash positioning, and forecasting. You will also oversee daily operations related to foreign exchange and interest rate trading, investigate discrepancies, and manage relationships with banking partners. Additionally, you will analyze and optimize fund flows, considering factors like costs, working capital, and liquidity risk, while leveraging system solutions to enhance efficiency.

In this role, you will assist in developing and updating Treasury Finance policies and procedures, including risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) controls. You will be responsible for creating metrics to monitor the overall health of treasury operations and setting priorities for future developments. Furthermore, you will support both internal and external audits as needed, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in treasury, particularly in areas like liquidity management, financial risk management, and process improvements. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with a hands-on approach to tackling complex issues and developing scalable solutions. Experience in building processes and utilizing systems to scale treasury operations is highly valued. Effective communication skills are crucial for building cross-functional relationships.
