Transfer Pricing Operations Specialist

Stripe is seeking a Transfer Pricing Operations Specialist to enhance and streamline its transfer pricing processes. This role involves implementing scalable tools, automation, and workflow solutions to support Stripe's expanding product offerings and international presence. The specialist will collaborate across the organization to execute compliant and practical transfer pricing policies, design and implement transfer pricing calculations, and manage automation tools. Additionally, the role includes building and refining transfer pricing models for clarity and efficiency, driving process improvements with a focus on automation and simplification, and partnering with internal stakeholders such as Internal Systems, Accounting, and Legal to support these efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, economics, business, law, or related fields, along with over five years of experience in transfer pricing implementation. A strong understanding of global transfer pricing laws and regulations is essential. The role requires proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle), experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx, and familiarity with transfer pricing calculation engines. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively across different functional areas and cultures. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees or professional certifications (CPA, JD, LLM), experience in high-growth environments, familiarity with SQL, and experience with AI technologies and project management tools like Asana.
