Transfer Pricing Manager
Experian is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our Group Tax team, based in London or Nottingham. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Head of Global Tax Operations and collaborate across regions and functions to ensure our global tax requirements are met. Your expertise will be instrumental in understanding and optimizing Experian's value chain, aligning with our Tax Policy and supporting our continued growth.
As a Transfer Pricing Manager, you will lead and deliver major transfer pricing projects grounded in commercial reality and compliant with our Transfer Pricing Standards. Key responsibilities include partnering with external advisors and regional tax teams on transfer pricing integration, controversy, and litigation matters. You will stay abreast of global tax developments, such as BEPS 2.0, to anticipate risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will collaborate with the wider Tax team to ensure group projects are accurately reflected in our Masterfile and Local File documentation globally, and work with our outsource provider to maintain robust documentation to support project implementation and tax authority scrutiny.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Transfer Pricing professional, such as an accountant, tax specialist, or lawyer, with experience gained in-house or at a Senior Manager level within the Big 4. You should possess strong project management skills, capable of guiding advisors on non-home-country tax issues and balancing risk versus reward. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical details into clear messages and influence partners across a global organization. Organizational skills are crucial, as you will be working within a global function, juggling priorities, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service to internal partners is also key.
