Traffic Project Manager
Benesch is seeking a Traffic Project Manager to join our Civil/Traffic team in Boston, MA. This role involves working on various transportation projects with state and local agencies, focusing on traffic safety and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic engineering and a comprehensive understanding of MassDOT standards.
Key responsibilities include creating and executing project work plans, managing project analysis and deliverables, and collaborating with team members, senior staff, and external clients. The role also involves interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders, including the Department of Transportation, and representing Benesch at industry and professional engagement events.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation and traffic engineering experience. A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Massachusetts or the ability to obtain licensure within one year is required. A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is necessary, along with experience working with public agencies and/or municipalities, preferably with MassDOT. Progressive experience with developing plans, analysis, and reports per DOT standards and requirements is also expected.
The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $155,000 USD annually. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on factors including individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
