Traffic Engineer
Benesch is seeking a Traffic Designer to join our expanding Traffic/Transportation team. This role involves working on various transportation projects with state and local agencies, focusing on traffic safety and operations. The position offers flexibility within Colorado's front range, including locations such as Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, and the Denver Metro area.
The Traffic Designer will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to traffic and safety operations. Key duties include developing proposed solutions under supervision, creating improvement concept plans, organizing analyses for client reports in accordance with agency standards, and conducting field visits as necessary. Additionally, the role may involve working at client sites under client supervision.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. While an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification is preferred, a desire to obtain Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in the future is also acceptable. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Microsoft Office products is advantageous but not mandatory.
