Test Automation Engineer - Cloud Security
Tenable, a leading cybersecurity company, is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join their Cloud Security team in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role focuses on developing and implementing automated testing frameworks to enhance product quality across multiple product lines. The position offers an opportunity to shape and develop the automation framework from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration into the overall development process.
As a Test Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include building and maintaining an automation framework to support efficient and scalable testing, developing and executing automated tests focusing on functional validation, performance testing, and operational resilience, and collaborating closely with developers and QA engineers to identify testing requirements and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will analyze and report test results, using data to refine testing approaches and drive continuous improvements in the automation process.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a test automation role, with a focus on building and maintaining automation infrastructure. Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript and experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress are required, with familiarity in React testing considered a plus. Experience in a SaaS or cybersecurity environment is preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous. Desirable skills include experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch, understanding of CI/CD practices, and a commitment to data-driven testing strategies.
