Technology Lawyer
Axiom is seeking experienced Technology Lawyers to collaborate with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex legal matters within a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the success of cutting-edge technology initiatives.
Key responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing technology-related contracts such as software licensing agreements, technology development agreements, and SaaS agreements. The role also involves providing legal counsel on intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance issues related to product development and digital products. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in technology transactions and product launches, as well as staying informed about emerging AI regulations and ethical considerations to offer strategic advice on integrating AI into technology solutions.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience supporting technology transactions within a law firm or in-house corporation. A strong understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, and EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations is essential. Experience working with technology companies or in-house legal teams, preferably in the software/SaaS industry, is also required, along with a solid understanding of tech/SaaS business models, product development lifecycle, and industry best practices.
