Technical Support Engineer

The Technical Support Engineer at Example Corp (Sandbox) plays a pivotal role within the Technical Support department, providing guidance and assistance to customers regarding the installation, troubleshooting, and integration of Example Corp's products and supporting technologies. This position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Key responsibilities include utilizing available documentation and resources to identify and resolve customer issues promptly, aiming for same-day resolution. The engineer will handle regional support phone calls and live chat requests, contributing to the 24/7 global support resource pool. Maintaining detailed case notes for collaborative troubleshooting and effectively communicating with customers across various mediums are essential aspects of the role.

Candidates should possess an aptitude for quickly learning technical concepts and the ability to communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences. Basic troubleshooting skills related to server infrastructure, systems, networks, and hardware are required. Exceptional customer service skills, strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills are also necessary. Experience with macOS and iOS is preferred, while familiarity with macOS, Windows, and/or Linux server platforms is desirable. An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
