Technical Support Engineer - EMEA
Chainguard is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional support for our Chainguard Images product. This role is integral to our mission of securing the software supply chain by default, ensuring our customers receive prompt and effective solutions to their technical challenges. As part of a dynamic and customer-obsessed team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will be responsible for triaging, investigating, reproducing, and resolving complex customer issues related to Chainguard Images. Your day-to-day activities will include managing support tickets, escalating issues to the Engineering team when necessary, and maintaining clear and professional communication with customers to keep them informed and satisfied. Additionally, you'll contribute to our knowledge base by documenting new issues and solutions, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting enterprise customers, demonstrating a calm and confident approach. Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Helm charts, and Terraform is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly AWS EKS, is a plus. Additional qualifications, such as KCNA or CKA certifications, and experience with security frameworks or vulnerability scanning, will be advantageous.
Chainguard offers a competitive base salary ranging from €81,000 to €96,000 EUR, along with equity options.
