Technical Project Manager
Experian is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to establish and lead project management capabilities within our Engineering organization. This strategic role involves creating structures and processes from the ground up, collaborating closely with technical teams, and defining methodologies for project planning, execution, and tracking.
The successful candidate will design and implement project management frameworks and governance for engineering teams lacking formal structures. Responsibilities include setting project delivery standards aligned with Agile and Scrum principles, driving adoption of tools like Jira and Confluence, and leading the planning and execution of technical projects to ensure clarity of scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies. Additionally, the role involves building and leading a small project management team and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Candidates should have proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in technology-driven environments, with a strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence is essential, along with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. The role requires the ability to build structures and processes from scratch and comfort operating with high autonomy and ambiguity. Advanced English proficiency is necessary, and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed is required.
