Technical Pre-Sales Prototyper / Forward Deployed Engineer

Diligent Corporation is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Prototyper / Forward Deployed Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role operates at the intersection of engineering, product development, and business strategy, offering a unique opportunity to engage directly with clients and influence product direction. As a key technical representative, you will be instrumental in building prototypes and demonstrating solutions that address complex client needs.

In this position, you will rapidly design, build, and deliver end-to-end prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to help prospects and partners experience the art of the possible. Collaborating closely with sales and business development teams, you will identify customer needs, conduct discovery sessions, and tailor prototypes to demonstrate value. Additionally, you will represent the company independently in executive-level meetings, confidently articulating both technical and business value.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of relevant, post-college work experience, with strong technical hacking and prototyping abilities. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar is essential. Experience working with AI/LLM-based tools, APIs, and modern developer ecosystems is highly desirable. Excellent customer-facing skills, exceptional executive presence, and the ability to operate independently in fast-changing environments are also required.
