The Talent Development Manager (Litigation) at Milbank will support the Litigation & Arbitration Group in the New York office. This role involves collaborating with attorneys and administrative teams to enhance professional development and training initiatives. The position reports to the Director of Attorney Talent Development and requires a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Key responsibilities include understanding the practice group's dynamics, coordinating associate assignments with the Staffing Partner, and ensuring consistent developmental messages during performance evaluations. The manager will also counsel associates on career goals, collaborate with the Training Partner and Professional Development team on the Advocacy@Milbank program, and facilitate events to promote team cohesion. Additionally, the role involves managing onboarding for new associates and conducting exit interviews for departing associates.

Candidates should have four to eight years of law firm experience, preferably with litigation experience at a peer firm. Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, leadership, time management, and organizational skills are essential. The position requires flexibility with working hours and in-person attendance on a hybrid schedule (3-4 days in the office).

The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $160,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on factors such as relevant experience, performance, qualifications, and location.
