Summer Students 2027
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm, is offering a Summer Students Programme in Madrid for 2027. This program is tailored for law students seeking their first professional experience in a global legal environment. Participants will work alongside experienced lawyers, gaining exposure to significant transactions and disputes that influence the business world. The firm has been a prominent presence in Spain for over four decades, with offices in Madrid and Barcelona, providing integrated services to both national and international clients.
During the internship, students will engage in real client projects across various practice areas, including Antitrust & Trade, Disputes, Finance, Funds & Asset Management, Private Equity, Corporate Transactions & Advisory, Real Estate, and Tax, Pensions, Employment & Incentives. The program offers training sessions and networking opportunities to enhance legal and commercial understanding. Successful candidates will join either in June or July 2027, with the application deadline at the end of January 2027.
Applicants should be in the penultimate year of a law degree at a Spanish university during the 2026/2027 academic year, with a strong academic record (a high Notable in core subjects). Fluency in written and spoken English is required. The selection process includes an online application, video interview, and a competency-based interview with a Talent Acquisition team member. Preference will be given to candidates with disabilities of 33 percent or higher.
