BD Client Development Manager / Senior Manager
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Client Development Manager/Senior Manager to support its strategic growth in Saudi Arabia. This role, based in Riyadh, reports to the Head of Business Development and focuses on driving client development initiatives, supporting key client programs, and identifying growth opportunities across priority sectors. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners and lawyers to develop client relationship strategies and coordinate business development campaigns.
Key responsibilities include leading the preparation of pitches, proposals, and credentials, managing legal directory submissions, and supporting profile-raising activities such as market-facing events and thought leadership initiatives. The role also involves maintaining client intelligence, coordinating client feedback initiatives, and monitoring market developments to identify opportunities for the firm. Additionally, the successful candidate will act as a coach and mentor to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Client & Market Development function.
Candidates should have over seven years of experience in business development, marketing, or communications, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment. A strong track record in managing pitches, proposals, and competitive tenders is essential, along with experience preparing legal directory submissions. Excellent stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in CRM systems and business development technologies are also required. The role demands a proactive, highly organized, and results-oriented team player.
