Structural Group Manager
Benesch is seeking a Structural Group Manager to lead and expand our North Carolina Structural Engineering Group. This role involves overseeing bridge and structural design, inspection, and rehabilitation services, contributing to projects that enhance infrastructure and communities across the state and the Southeast. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration at our Raleigh office with remote work flexibility.
Key responsibilities include managing and growing the Structural Engineering Group, ensuring successful project delivery by overseeing staffing, budgets, and schedules across multiple offices. The role also involves developing and maintaining client relationships, representing Benesch at industry events, identifying and leading strategic project pursuits, and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a Professional Engineer licensure in North Carolina, and proven experience working with NCDOT and local agencies. Desired qualifications include experience in alternative project delivery methods, bridge inspection services, technical report preparation, scope development, and a strong track record in client development and project management.
