Structural Bridge Project Manager

Benesch is seeking a Structural Bridge Project Manager to join our Tennessee division, focusing on the design and development of bridge and retaining wall structures. This role offers the opportunity to work within a team of professionals dedicated to enhancing infrastructure and communities across the country. The successful candidate will have the option to work a hybrid schedule from our Franklin or Nashville office.

As a Structural Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects, managing the compilation and coordination of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items in accordance with TDOT standards. You will lead structural designers on bridge design projects, prepare and review necessary plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports, and work with clients to develop scopes of work and fee estimate proposals. Additionally, you will assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files and plans, ensuring adequate independent quality control reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, a PE License in Tennessee or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity, and a minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience, with 12 years preferred. Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities is essential, along with excellent communication and client relation skills.
