Cresta is seeking a Strategic Solutions Engineer to drive AI transformation in customer experience. This remote role involves partnering with Sales Directors to design and validate AI-powered solutions tailored to customer needs. The position requires deep engagement with customer stakeholders to understand their business objectives, technical environments, and operational challenges, enabling the creation of intelligent solutions that integrate large and small language models with real-time AI assistance.

Key responsibilities include acting as a consultative partner to customers, leading technical discovery sessions to comprehend customer systems, and translating customer requirements into scalable Cresta configurations. The role also involves designing and delivering tailored product demonstrations, managing proof-of-value engagements, conducting ROI workshops, and serving as a technical liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. Staying current on emerging technologies such as large and small language models, retrieval-augmented generation, speech recognition, and contact center AI platforms is essential.

Candidates should have over seven years of experience in customer-facing roles, including one to three years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting within the enterprise software or contact center industry. A deep knowledge of contact center solutions, including telephony architecture and CCaaS platforms, is required. Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, particularly large and small language models applied in conversational AI and agent augmentation, is essential. Experience with real-time systems, CRM tools, analytics platforms, and SaaS solution architecture is also necessary. The ability to design and communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences, along with a consultative mindset and a proven track record of leading strategic conversations, is crucial.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $205,000, with additional variable compensation and equity options.
