In this role, the Strategic Sales Director will proactively build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of new strategic opportunities through outreach and prospecting. They will design and execute strategic account plans to unlock new revenue streams and expand customer value, leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial outreach to close. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives at Fortune 500 companies, the director will clearly articulate Cresta's value proposition and business impact. Collaboration with Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities and working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap and drive customer success are also key responsibilities.
Candidates should have over seven years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of hunting and closing net-new business. Experience leading complex sales cycles with C-level stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies is essential. A strong ability to build executive-level relationships and influence strategic decision-making is required, along with a deep understanding of value-based selling and building business cases that tie to customer ROI. Comfort with navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, early-stage environment, as well as strong collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals, are also important. Willingness to travel up to 25% or more as needed is expected.
