Strategic Sales Director, Australia
Cresta is seeking a Strategic Sales Director to lead sales efforts with major Australian companies, focusing on significant strategic deals that will influence the company's trajectory. This role involves building relationships with key executives and promoting advanced AI technology. As an early member of the team at a growing startup, the director will have the opportunity to help define the sales process, participate in regional expansion strategy, and contribute to building the APAC region.
Key responsibilities include managing the entire sales experience, from prospecting new clients to closing contracts, while building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and executives. The director will run complex sales cycles, design product presentations and business cases, develop and deliver proposals, and negotiate contracts. Additionally, the role requires developing a deep understanding of Cresta's product, the contact center market, competitive differentiators, and customer needs. Collaboration with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering teams is essential to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Candidates should have over seven years of enterprise-level SaaS software sales experience, with a proven track record in negotiating, structuring, and executing complex enterprise-level agreements. Experience leading cross-functional teams through large deal close processes is essential. The role requires the ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executives, and excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives. The director should be willing to travel up to 25%.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, variable (OTE), equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
