Smartsheet is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead the expansion of its presence within a defined set of Global 2000 accounts in the Southeast region. This role involves driving executive engagement, selling solutions, and achieving significant growth in software and services bookings. The position reports to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts.

Key responsibilities include consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas, effectively forecasting and managing the sales pipeline, and developing multi-year account strategies. The role requires collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver high-value customer experiences. Engagement with both Line of Business and IT departments is essential, as is the ability to manage both transactional and value-based sales motions.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in complex software solutions for Global 2000 companies. A proven track record of exceeding quotas, a minimum of three years' tenure in previous roles, and strong skills in strategic account planning are required. Experience with value selling methodologies and the ability to engage with senior executives are also important. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $135,000 to $180,000, depending on location and experience.
