Smartsheet is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join our EMEA organization, focusing on expanding software and services sales within existing customer accounts and acquiring new clients. This role is pivotal in building out a strategically important vertical for Smartsheet and reports to the Senior Regional Director, Large Enterprise - EMEA.

The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas by leading primary and secondary account teams, including Solution Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Customer Outcomes, Marketing, and Sales Development. Key responsibilities include developing short and long-term growth and renewal strategies, balancing tactical execution with targeting complex, high-value solution-based deals, and proactively creating proposals that align with customer initiatives to position Smartsheet as an enterprise software solution provider.

Candidates should have over 5 years of experience selling enterprise software or services, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and building relationships with senior line-of-business leaders, IT executives, and operational managers within large enterprise organizations. Fluency in both English and German is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales fundamentals, including pipeline generation, territory planning, account planning, and deal execution, along with high integrity, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
