Strategic Account Executive - Midwest

Smartsheet is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead the expansion of our Global 2000 accounts in the Midwest region. This role involves driving executive engagement, selling solutions, and achieving significant growth in software and services bookings with both new and existing customers. The position reports to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts.

Key responsibilities include consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas, effectively forecasting and managing the sales pipeline, and developing actionable account plans. The role requires collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver positive customer outcomes. The executive will engage with both Line of Business and IT departments, manage transactional and value-based sales motions, and build relationships with VP-level and C-suite executives.

Candidates should have 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in complex software solutions, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas. A minimum of 3 years' tenure in previous roles is preferred, demonstrating loyalty and growth. The role demands strong skills in strategic account planning, value selling methodologies, and executive engagement. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation includes a base salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 USD, with eligibility for a competitive incentive opportunity.
