Smartsheet is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead the expansion of our Global 2000 accounts in the Midwest region. This role involves driving executive engagement, selling solutions, and achieving significant growth in software and services bookings with both new and existing customers. The position reports to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts.

Key responsibilities include consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas, effectively forecasting and managing the sales pipeline, and developing multi-year account strategies. The role requires creating and maintaining actionable account plans, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external partners, and delivering a high-value customer experience throughout the customer journey. Additionally, the executive will engage with both Line of Business and IT departments, manage transactional and value-based solution sales motions, and build relationships with VP-level and C-suite executives.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in complex software solutions within Global 2000 companies. A proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas, a minimum of 3+ years tenure in previous roles, and demonstrated ability to prospect and build demand in a defined territory are essential. Experience with team-based strategic account planning, value-selling methodologies, and engaging with senior executives is required. Strong presentation skills, a data-driven approach leveraging PLG signals, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 USD, with eligibility for a market-competitive incentive opportunity.
