Staff Engineer-Frontend

Experian is seeking a Frontend Staff Engineer to design and develop web-tier applications utilizing AWS technologies. This role involves working within the ECS team to enhance and maintain our platform, ensuring high performance and scalability. The position is based in Hyderabad and reports to a Manager.

Key responsibilities include analyzing existing codebases, considering performance optimizations, collaborating in a team environment, and participating in project estimations. The engineer will review code from peers, coach junior engineers on best practices, develop reusable patterns, and stay updated on relevant technologies. Additionally, the role involves advising on business process impacts and system priorities, as well as keeping management informed of task statuses and potential roadblocks.

Candidates should have 9 to 11 years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design. A minimum of 6 years in building efficient, maintainable, and scalable applications with associated frameworks is required. Experience with React/Redux, React Hooks, server-side rendering, and micro frontends is essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
