Sr. Video Editor (Remote Eligible - Costa Rica)

Smartsheet is seeking an accomplished Senior Video Producer & Editor to join our Brand Studio team. This role is pivotal in bringing the Smartsheet brand to life through compelling motion graphics, animation, and live-action footage. Reporting to the Video Production Lead in Seattle, the position is remote-eligible within Costa Rica, with occasional international travel up to 10% of the time.

The Senior Video Editor will produce and coordinate projects involving internal teams, customers, and agency partners, ensuring timely delivery from concept to completion. Responsibilities include collaborating on scripts and storyboards, acting as a liaison between business and creative teams, and maintaining high standards of polish and attention to detail across all marketing designs. Active participation in planning and aligning video assets with target audience needs and brand guidelines is essential.

Candidates should have over five years of experience in producing and editing content within a marketing or creative environment, preferably in the technology sector. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, is required, with a strong emphasis on motion graphics animation. A deep understanding of video production workflows, audio recording/mixing, and YouTube best practices is also necessary. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film, Animation, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.
