Sr. Technical Program Manager (Remote from Bulgaria)
Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join its expanding Product and Innovation team. This role involves managing programs that span the entire Product, Engineering, and UX organizations, requiring close collaboration with engineering teams, product leaders, executives, and third-party vendors. The position is remote, based in Bulgaria, and reports to the Director of Technical Program and Operations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on enterprise-wide and external partner programs. The role involves project planning and support for engineering teams, designing scalable processes to support business growth, developing schedules, adhering to milestones, and ensuring team members remain on task. Additionally, the manager will identify and prioritize issues, develop and execute mitigation plans, drive regular status updates for transparency and efficiency, and facilitate open communication among diverse personalities and work styles.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in project management, program management, change management, or leading large organization-wide programs. Experience managing cross-departmental processes and working with API platforms is essential. The candidate should have a proven track record of leading successful projects from inception to completion, strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and experience in a high-growth company. A business-related degree or equivalent experience is required, along with legal eligibility to work in Bulgaria and fluency in English.
