Sr. Team Manager, Compliance
Box, Inc. is seeking a Senior Team Manager for Compliance to lead and enhance its compliance programs. This role is integral to ensuring that Box's operations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The position is available in both Redwood City, California, and Chicago, Illinois.
As the Senior Team Manager, Compliance, you will oversee the successful delivery of compliance programs such as PCI, ISO 27000 series, and SOC. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and identifying compliance issues, providing guidance on new product features and infrastructure changes, supporting regulatory and customer audits, and driving improvements in existing processes. Additionally, you will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate Box's compliance position to auditors, customers, and internal teams.
Ideal candidates should possess a BS degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of 6 years in a technology risk and compliance role, with at least 2 years of direct people leadership experience, is required. Certifications such as QSA, CISA, CIA, or CISSP are advantageous. Experience with GRC tools, familiarity with cloud computing platforms like GCP and AWS, and extensive knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOC, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53 are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
