Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Director of Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations to lead the planning and execution of GTM sales models, ongoing sales operations, and sales analytics. This role involves close collaboration with senior leaders, including the CEO and CRO, to drive strategies that support the company's accelerated growth. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Revenue Operations.

Key responsibilities include partnering with the SVP of Revenue Operations to implement organizational objectives that enhance field productivity and reduce process friction. The role also involves supporting global strategy development, playing a key role in international expansion, and ensuring the deployment of appropriate team structures and infrastructure. Additionally, the Senior Director will prioritize initiatives related to sales acceleration, pipeline optimization, and market penetration, while overseeing cross-functional processes to efficiently close high-value sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in sales, sales operations, business planning, and management within a SaaS business-to-business sales environment. Experience in scaling businesses internationally and working in both publicly traded and private equity-owned companies is preferred. Proven leadership in complex process improvement initiatives, strong cross-functional relationship-building skills, and a track record of significant impact through strategy execution are essential. A four-year college degree is required, with an MBA or equivalent preferred.

Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary range of $205,000 to $265,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits. These include medical, vision, and dental coverage options, a 401(k) match, monthly stipends to support work and productivity, a flexible time away program, and up to 24 weeks of parental leave. Additional perks include a personal paid volunteer day, opportunities for professional growth and development, and company-funded benefits such as counseling memberships and local retail discounts.

At Smartsheet, employees are encouraged to explore, push boundaries, and grow beyond their roles. The company values diverse perspectives and nontraditional paths, fostering an environment where ideas are heard, potential is supported, and contributions have a real impact. Joining Smartsheet means becoming part of a team that is dedicated to building what's next, together.
