Solutions Architect, Startup & SMB (French-Speaking)
Stripe is seeking a Solutions Architect to join its Solutions Architecture team, focusing on supporting startups and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team to technically qualify new business opportunities, showcase the capabilities of the Stripe Platform, and design robust technical solutions that facilitate payment transactions, manage money movements, and streamline financial operations.
As a Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical stakeholders at key user organizations to share technology roadmaps and demonstrate Stripe's latest innovations. You will lead technical discussions and deep dives to articulate the value Stripe can provide, advocate for customer needs internally to influence product direction, and participate in quarterly business reviews to identify new opportunities and collaborate on detailed account planning. Additionally, you will create technical content such as reference architectures and demos, and represent Stripe as a thought leader at industry conferences.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in roles such as pre-sales, technical architecture, technical consulting, application delivery, or technical engineering, with at least one year in a customer-facing pre-sales capacity. Strong technical knowledge in software architecture, proficiency across various technology stacks, and the ability to write code are essential. Experience working with large enterprise customers and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are also required.
The annual base salary range for this role is €94,700 to €142,100, which may vary depending on the candidate's location. Additional compensation may include equity, company bonuses or sales commissions, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
