Solutions Architect, Commercial (German-Speaking)

The Solutions Architecture team collaborates with our most complex users to understand their technical requirements and align them with Stripe's technology. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with Sales to technically qualify new business opportunities, demonstrate the capabilities of the Stripe Platform, and design robust technical solutions to facilitate payment transactions and streamline financial operations.
In this role, you will engage with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical stakeholders at key user organizations to share technology roadmaps, showcase the latest innovations, and define solution strategies to address their challenges. You will lead technical discussions and deep dives to illustrate the value Stripe can provide, advocate for customer needs internally to influence product direction, and create technical content such as reference architectures and demos to share with users and present at industry conferences.
The ideal candidate has over four years of experience in roles such as pre-sales, technical architecture, technical consulting, application delivery, or technical engineering, with at least two years in a customer-facing pre-sales capacity. You should possess strong technical knowledge in software architecture, have a broad understanding across technology stacks with deep hands-on skills, and be comfortable discussing technical concepts and explaining their functionality from both product feature and API architecture perspectives. Proficiency in coding and experience working with large enterprise customers are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to large audiences in both German and English, are required.
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €125,600 to €188,400. This range may vary if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary. Specific benefits and compensation details will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
