Software Engineer, Trading And Compliance Technology

Point72's Compliance Technology team is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and enhance applications that ensure the firm's adherence to ethical standards. This role involves working with technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, SQL, and ReactJS to build surveillance, monitoring, and reporting tools.

The primary responsibilities include server-side development using Java and Spring Framework, database programming with T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server, and front-end development with JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS. Additionally, the role involves working with various streaming, cloud, and containerized technologies, contributing to application architecture discussions, and collaborating with other technology teams within Point72.

Candidates should have proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework, strong SQL skills, and experience with front-end technologies like ReactJS and NodeJS. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and design abilities, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards are also essential.
