Software Engineer, Stablecoin
Figure is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Stablecoin team, which is dedicated to bridging traditional financial systems with blockchain technology. The company focuses on developing secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant solutions that facilitate seamless transitions between fiat currencies and blockchain-native assets, driving the future of digital finance.
In this role, the engineer will drive innovative technical solutions by adhering to iterative development principles. Responsibilities include originating, championing, and executing new project ideas, collaborating with project leads and other software engineers across multiple teams, and developing software solutions that will transform the consumer lending and blockchain space. The engineer is expected to be a leader, using their voice and technical skills to solve real-world problems.
The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree, preferably in Computer Science, and at least 2 years of post-graduation engineering or development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment. Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and experience with Postgres or other relational databases, including schema design, data integration, and performance tuning, are required. The candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude, capable of succeeding in a startup environment, and able to drive a project from concept to release. Proficiency in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), as well as familiarity with iterative software development, is also expected.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $102,960 to $154,440 per year, with a 25% annual bonus target paid quarterly. The company also offers equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
