Senior Compliance Associate
The Senior Compliance Associate at Figure will be integral to the legal and compliance team, overseeing the company's multi-state mortgage and consumer lending licenses. This role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of state lending licenses, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and serving as the primary liaison for state regulatory examinations. Key responsibilities include managing the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and state portals, preparing and submitting license applications, and ensuring accurate regulatory reporting in collaboration with internal teams. The role also involves coordinating responses to regulatory examinations, drafting formal responses to findings, and implementing corrective action plans. Candidates should have 4-6 years of compliance or regulatory experience within mortgage lending, consumer finance, or banking institutions, with a strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field is necessary, along with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines simultaneously.
