Software Engineer - Smart Contract, Bridge
As a Software Engineer specializing in smart contracts at Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our blockchain-based payment infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include building multi-chain hot wallet systems to improve payment reliability, creating smart contracts to boost transaction throughput, and developing platforms for issuing custom stablecoins across various blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, and Stellar. Additionally, you will design monitoring systems to detect anomalies, particularly in minting and burning processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in software engineering. A strong proficiency in blockchain platforms like Ethereum and Solana, experience in smart contract development using languages such as Solidity, and a deep understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain protocols are essential. Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) and stablecoins is highly desirable. The position is based in San Francisco, with an expectation to spend at least 50% of the time in the local office or with users. The annual U.S. base salary range for this role is $190,400 to $285,600, with additional benefits including equity, company bonuses, 401(k) plans, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
