Software Engineer- (.NET)
As a Software Engineer at Energy Exemplar, you will be an integral part of the Development team at the Indian Development Centre (IDC), reporting to the Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical development of multiple projects and products, focusing on designing and developing user-friendly front-end technologies and web applications. Your day-to-day tasks will include working on data structures and algorithms, transforming logic into code, optimizing code performance, and ensuring web applications are secure and cross-browser compatible. Additionally, you will participate in DevOps transformations using Agile and SCRUM methodologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement, and collaborating with team members and leaders to elevate technology standards and consistently apply best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in product development. Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming with C#,.NET (or Java), and experience with SQL Server or any RDBMS is essential. Proficiency in designing and developing UI front-end technologies, web application development, and familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript are required. Experience with Angular 2+, VueJS, or React, as well as knowledge of asynchronous programming, Web API development, and cloud/application security (OWASP), will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment are also important.
