Software Engineer In Test - Tenable OT
Tenable, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join their Operational Technology (OT) team in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role focuses on developing and maintaining test automation tools to ensure the quality and reliability of Tenable's OT security solutions. As part of the OT team, the engineer will contribute to safeguarding critical infrastructure by enhancing the security of industrial control systems.
In this position, the Software Engineer in Test will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation tools. Responsibilities include building automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services, collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure product quality, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, analyzing test results to identify defects, and continuously improving test coverage and efficiency.
Candidates should have over three years of experience in developing automation infrastructure and automated tests, with high proficiency in Python and a strong understanding of the Pytest test framework. Experience with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright, working with Rest/Graph APIs, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions are essential. Additional qualifications include familiarity with version control systems (Git), AI-assisted development tools, knowledge of networking and network protocols, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and a background in the cybersecurity industry.
