Site Autonomy Engineer

May Mobility is seeking a Site Autonomy Engineer to provide hands-on support for our autonomous vehicle fleet in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves working closely with both the electromechanical and software components of our systems to ensure successful deployments and safe operations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and implementing vehicle upgrades, diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, performing on-site sensor calibrations, and conducting testing of feature improvements. The engineer will also build and maintain local mapping assets, perform preventative maintenance, and assist in ensuring fleet cleanliness and demo readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Linux computing environments, the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics, and a safety-first approach to all tasks are essential. Experience with wire harnesses, mechanical subsystems, and debugging mechanical and electrical systems is required. Familiarity with Git and GitHub or GitLab is also necessary.
